Reporting automation that keeps the numbers current.
If someone spends hours every week exporting, cleaning and rebuilding the same reports, automated reporting can give that time back — and give you numbers you can trust.
Building the report shouldn't take longer than reading it.
Most business reporting is not analysis. It is gathering, cleaning and copying data so the analysis can start. That is exactly the part data automation removes.
Logging into accounting, sales and operations tools just to download the raw data.
Fixing dates, deleting columns and tidying names before anything can be combined.
Pasting this month's numbers into last month's workbook and hoping the formulas hold.
Two systems, two totals, and an afternoon spent working out which one is right.
By the time the report is finished and sent, the numbers have moved on.
A critical spreadsheet that stops when its owner is on leave.
One source of truth, built from the systems you already run.
Data automation pulls information from each system on a schedule, cleans and combines it, and feeds the reports and dashboards your team relies on. No exports. No copy-and-paste.
From month-end scramble to automated reporting.
The same report, the same numbers — without the two days of exporting, pasting and checking every time it is due.
Automate everything between raw data and a decision.
Reporting and analytics automation covers more than a dashboard. It is the whole chain: collecting, checking, combining and delivering the numbers.
Automated reporting
Weekly, monthly and board reports that build and send themselves on schedule.
Spreadsheet automation
Keep the spreadsheets your team knows, but remove the manual imports and copy-paste.
System integration
Connect accounting, CRM, booking and operations data into one consistent dataset.
Live dashboards
See sales, jobs, cash flow and performance as they happen, not weeks later.
Data cleansing & validation
Catch duplicates, gaps and mismatches automatically before they reach a report.
Alerts & analytics
Get notified when a number moves outside its normal range, instead of finding out later.
Show me the report. I'll work out the rest.
You don't need a data strategy or a list of requirements. The report you already build by hand is the best possible specification for what to automate.
“At month-end I pull numbers from three systems into one spreadsheet, fix whatever broke since last month, and send a PDF to the directors. It takes two days.”
Same numbers. Without the manual work.
Walk me through the report
We go through how it is built today: every export, spreadsheet and manual fix.
Map the data
I trace where each number comes from and how the systems can be connected.
Build & reconcile
The automated report runs alongside your manual one until the numbers match.
Extend from there
Once the data is flowing, adding new reports and dashboards gets much faster.
Straight answers about reporting automation.
Can you work with our existing spreadsheets?
Yes. Spreadsheet automation often means keeping the workbook your team already uses and automating how data gets into it. If the spreadsheet has outgrown its job, I will suggest a better option.
Which reporting tools do you use?
Whatever suits your business: Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI or a custom dashboard. The focus is reliable data first, then the right place to view it.
How do we know the automated numbers are right?
The automated report is checked against your existing manual report until they agree. Built-in validation then flags missing or unusual data before it reaches a report.
What if one of our systems doesn't connect easily?
Most systems have some way in, whether an API, a database connection or scheduled exports. If a system can't be integrated, I will tell you up front and find the most practical alternative.
How is this different from business automation?
Reporting automation focuses on data and numbers. Business automation covers wider workflows such as approvals, notifications and data entry. Many projects include both.
Which report takes the longest to build?
Tell me about the report, spreadsheet or dashboard that takes too long to put together. You do not need to know how it should be automated.
